This week I tasted a Belgian beer, to date unbeknownst to me. What a treat! Tripick, made by Brasserie Les Trois Fourquets, near the city of LIège, is a blond Pale Ale style beer, unfiltered, and comes in 6% alcohol or 8% alcohol versions. I enjoyed the Tripick 6 at the monthly gathering of Belgians in Toronto.

A true Cool Climate winery!
The Blue Mountains have always been known for only one thing: Skiing. This upscale winter destination just outside Collingwood is usually compared to other popular ski spots as Whistler and Vail for the growing number of million dollar second homes that surround the nearby slopes, as well as the upscale shops and restaurants.
